The WaterFront Center offers a variety of education and recreation programs to connect people to the water. In 2023, we provided our programs safely to more than 20,000 people. We have several ways to support us, including sponsoring veterans who will participate in our Veterans On Water (V.O.W.) program. This free program offers therapeutic experiences through seamanship challenges on the water to our community of veterans. Your donation will fund a sailor's participation in this program.
Joe K, one of our veteran participants, says, "Sailing with The WaterFront Center gives me the opportunity to do something therapeutic. Being out on the water is an amazing experience that I think everyone should experience."

You can also help us provide more marine science field trips to Oyster Bay for schools and local agencies from underserved communities. Your donation will subsidize programming costs and transportation fees, enabling us to reach a wider audience and make a greater impact.

Jean Marie Weiner, Executive Director of Boys & Girls Club of Oyster Bay-East Norwich, says, "The Boys & Girls Club of Oyster Bay-East Norwich is thrilled to have such a wonderful resource, the Waterfront Center, as a partner in education."

Your support is crucial to our ability to continue offering affordable and accessible programs to students, families, veterans, and people with disabilities. Please consider contributing to our Annual Appeal. Check out our 2022 Annual Report to see highlights, outcomes, insights, and connections from the past year.
