Thank you for your commitment to supporting The WaterFront Center!

Here are a couple of ways we can use your support... and some wonderful words from those who know firsthand the benefits of the work we do.

Sponsor A Veteran - Each donation pays for a sailor to participate in our Veterans On Water (V.O.W.) program. Combining the challenge of seamanship with the serenity of being on the water, this free program is offered as a therapeutic outlet for our community of veterans.

"Sailing with The WaterFront Center gives me the opportunity to do something therapeutic, being out on the water is an amazing experience that I think everyone should experience." - Joe K. Veteran, VOW Participant

Sponsor our Accessible Sailing Program - Each donation pays for a sailor to participate in our Zig Zag: Adaptive Sailing program. Designed for children, adolescents, and adults with physical, sensory, intellectual, and/or mental health disabilities, this free program ensures that sailing is a sport everyone can enjoy.

“I was excited to learn so much about what goes on in Oyster Bay – From learning how to sail and meeting the sea creatures – I had so much fun this summer!” - John G, Age 11 – living with cerebral palsy

Sponsor a Student - Help children of all ages and abilities fall in love with the sport of sailing and marine science. Each donation is a scholarship that subsidize program fees for Youth Summer Programs at The WaterFront Center on a need basis for underprivileged families.

"We get a lot of hands-on experiences with The WaterFront Center. They teach us about STEM which is Science, Technology, Engineering and Math and they do a lot of fun activities and experiments with us. It has given me a lot of ideas for what I want to do in the future for my job. I'm starting to like it a lot more because I didn't really think of it more then a hobby but now really do like Science and Math." - Gia I., 5th Grade St. Dominic's

Sponsor a Field Trip - Help us provide more marine science field trips to Oyster Bay for schools and local agencies from underserved communities. Each donation provides critical funding to subsidize programming costs and transportation fees.
